While visiting my parents, I was watching HGTV with them and fell in love with a show called No Demo Reno.
Maybe it’s because the star of the show is a redhead named Jenny!
The premise of the show is that you can take your house as it is and with no demo, renovate it with Jenny’s expertise to look like the new home of your dreams and maybe even fall in love with it all over again!
I was thinking about this concept and realized this is exactly what I did with my marriage.
I No Demo Renoed my marriage.
At first I was in love!
And then I was not so sure… for 18 years!
And then I decided to fall in love all over again back in 2016 and it worked!
How?
I needed a renovation of my mind!
Why?
Because the story I was telling myself about my marriage was hurting it, not helping it.
